Bhakt means who is always ready to provide any kind of services to the God and Pariwar means family. We believe in "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" which means the whole world is one single family.
The root of Bhakt Pariwar resides in Newcastle upon Tyne , UK . The divine thought of formation of Bhakt Pariwar emerged by students who came to Newcastle upon Tyne ( UK ) to pursue further education. These students found another way to do Bhakti by giving devotional service to Hindu Temple , Newcastle upon Tyne .
There are two main visions of Bhakt Pariwar:
1. To spread word of God in each and every home by the path of Bhakti which can establish Unity and divinity among all people.
2. To share the knowledge by contributing your own expertise to people and by learning from person who is superior to you in any field.
Our aim is not to concentrate in one group but to concentrate in "Seva" (Volunteer Service) in different forms. For example, if we get invitation from any one to do Bhajan, Satsang, Sunderkand, Ramapir's Paath, Swadhyay, Sabha or any type of volunteer work at religious places at anywhere then we accept invitation to do work or pray with enthusiasm and attend to meditate in search of our soul.
In Dec 2007, Group of 4-5 students used to give service to Hindu Temple , Newcastle upon Tyne . After that, more and more students were joined in this holy task. In April 2008, we started Sunderkand Discourse in individual families and now we do regular Sunderkand and Bhajan in different families on their particular occasions. After that, we actively engaged ourselves in all the festivals organized by Hindu Temple , Newcastle upon Tyne . Now there are almost 60 active members in this pariwar and they are always ready to contribute their efforts to Hindu Temple, Newcastle upon Tyne.We are actively engaged in the services like serving food, playing musical instruments, kitchen service for Hindu Temple and also to help in study matters, job or any other important issues here in UK.
Other face of Bhakt Pariwar is to gather friends who think it is not worthless to pass knowledge to others, who think it is not futile to think about their own country and share ideas towards anything we can contribute to it. It is for the people who think what they are studying is not the only thing they should know, who think the world is large enough to think about and people are still alive living in hostile conditions, who think this group can be a good link where the student can answer their parents how much a bag of potatoes cost in UK.and can answer them how to reach Newcastle from London. so anything u can share regarding this will be a great help improving others knowledge as well as your own .What our philosophy is to learn from person who is superior to you in any field and share your own expertise to people down at the bottom. Let's prove our existence and bring a better change in our society.
